I'm surprised that we haven't seen McGrath or Carmichael...both have gone over to 4 wheels and would be a great draw.

Where's the Metal Mulisha!?!

Really hoping to see someone come in with some "other" energy drink money...that would be a huge boost to the series.

My computer died so I can't post the link. On TJ Millingtons Facebook page it has a picture with Mcgrath. Caption says they are making plans for the April 6th race. Also has TJs sponsor.
McGrath is a Monster guy could be Monster wont allow him to run it . Not sure about GOAT .

i wouldnt be too surprised to see limited participation the first few races (if not the first season) so that potential drivers / sponsors can feel the series out. its a big chunk of change to shell out for a startup series that no one has seen yet. we are all positive that the series will be a hit, but we aren't putting out the $$$ to sponsor a team and driver either... if the first few races go off like we all think they will, ill bet we will see some other big name drivers / sponsors and even some of the "other" energy drink money...

" its a big chunk of change to shell out for a startup series " that being said ,if a driver had any dirt experience,it's better money spent than buying a Truck series or NW series ride, that won't get you any television coverage unless you 'are' the caution.

And that would be for 1 maybe 2 races in a Truck or NW series if you don't wad the car up. Also how many start up series have you seen that start out on national television network. LOORS or TORC don't have this kind of TV deal that I'm aware of and how many years have they been racing.

I think this season is just to promote, test, let people get their feet wet and slowly shoot for the stars. When I say promote - it's because I've never seen a seriess like this with such low ticket prices. I don't think Supercross or Montster Jam has low prices.

Also, I'm concerned the way they've been pushing tickets wondering if the interest starting out is way lower than what they expected. I hope there's more than 5000 people there. I've been pormoting the hell out of it on Facebook and would hate to see 60,000 empty seats.

I know it will take off but may take a few years.

Not including special VIP type packages here is what I found for the Supercross & Monster Jam tickets.

SX @ Reliant Stadium in Houston ranges from $10-$40
MJ @ Metlife Stadium at the Meadowlands ranges from $15-$50

SX doesn't have any sort of VIP things that I can see but MJ has two, $125 & $200. The $200 one includes breakfast with the drivers & early access to the pit party as bonuses, while the $125 one only includes the early access to the pit party bonus.

Not everyone wants to drink the kool aid the first year... but once the action starts I wouldn't be surprised if there are some quick additions.

+1 To follow with that I think that there will be quite a few drivers that race a couple races here and there.

Plus guys at any one yr in MTEG there was only 10-12 trucks competing here's a short list of the ones I could remember off the top of my head
