I believe LBGP will be part of the 5/25 hour and a half show.
Tomorrows 1pm/est has been that time for weeks, maybe at least a month
IMO,you hit on a point, but I have a different opinion. It is a 'new' series,I think it would be hard to make demands on 'a' time slot.
As far as LBGP, there wasn't 35-40 minutes of content,so how do you have an hour show for that event?
Maybe the broadcast team will talk about LBGP?
Coverage begins in 25 minutes
It wouldn't be that hard to fill out an additional 10 or so minutes of content. A brief tech overview of the truck combined with a fancily cut-together montage type interview with the drivers about what this type of racing means to them, etc & you have the needed 10min of fill easily.
That being said I missed the 1st race so maybe that was already done.
As far as todays race the only thing that bothered me is that on the SD feed (don't have HD cable package) the broadcast was in traditional 4:3 format instead of the 16:9 widescreen/letterbox format that Indycar & F1 are, though this seems to be something NBCSN likes to do, for some reason they are hesitant to switch to the fulltime widescreen format like SPEED & FOXNews (and I'm sure others, those are just the first 2 channels that come to mind) have done for their SD feeds.
Just got home from watching the most exciting and fun stadium racing in a long time. Stadium Racing is Back Baby!!!
Robby winning was just much better. My friends and I had a great time and we got a chance to speak with Bob Gordon after the race and that in its self was pretty damn awesome. thanks Robby for bringing back such an awesome racing series.
just a little more than hour for the replay on NBC Sports here in Alcoa, TN on Charter...can't wait!...may be bringing my in-laws (huge drag racing fans) to Atlanta race with us! Give 'em Hell Robby!!
SST was a blast last night. Every seat in the house had a great view. But you can see behind the peristyle better today on NBCSP. Good crowd size. I'm guessing 24,000.
some people are bitching on facebook that RG won lol
did the complainers think Robby is a B class driver?
