teammmr I didn't know TOG appointed you Dick of the day here at Planet Robby
No worries, didn't know he appointed you Sheriff for the day myself.

Team - I like your input. That's how the show gets better.

@Team
I can totally see your points but please trust me that it was truely an awesome event and very entertaining.

First - They mentioned that it could be a concern, but USAC would have black flagged him him they felt it was putting him or the other racers in harms way. Robby fixed the window net during the red flag to upright Arie Jr. All good (no conspiracy).

Second - They announced that in the drivers meeting that if a driver got stuck they were stuck until there was a cauthion flag. Unless the car was on its side or upside down, drivers safety came first and then a caution would be thrown. Wardy stayed in the truck until the caution and the TV footage even showed the safety pushing him over the sand hill. I was at Phoenix race and it was to many delays every time a driver got stuck unless it was a roll-over, this was much improved over the Phoenix race. I am sure it will continue to get better.

The fans did see footage on the jumbo tron of the trucks behind the pillars (Peristyle).

As far as PJ Jones the only driver trying the crossover jump was because he felt faster going that line. Sometimes there were to many oportunities to get caught up in traffic with everyone else using the paved line up the pillars.

Watching the monster trucks jump over each other was definitely the highlight of the night! I took company with me and they said they'd definitely go again. That seems to be what we can hope for. That each week they get better and grow this thing and it gets bigger and better. By the way it was great to see pj and arie win heat races.

I think San Diego with two shows two weeks apart will be good for the series. It should allow people to catch their breath and help address/resolve a lot of the 'what if' things procedural issues.

Valid things brought up.

Not everyone knows What the day to day SST things are....

So what..answer a few questions and move on.

SST is great. Having been to a show seeing it live, I will choose to see another and hope you do the same.
My kids watch the NBC broadcast more than any other racing on TV
I was wondering today if they will change things up between the week. .
Who knows. And time will tell.

Robby always has something up his sleeve

I'm just some guy in Buffalo eating wings at 3:30 AM slurpping Warka and pretty much happy with the mailman driving right on by but in my humble opinion there needs to be a repeat broadcast a few times after.......... during the week........when Joe "bagadoenuts" is home stuffing the pie hole at heartattack speed after a long day of spending time with people he pretends to like.....just sayin'. all the ....sorry.... All the point counter point inner circle debating and critical thinking won't help the series grow but if you enjoy a state of discord by all means have at it I mean since when is it become law you have to all get along (society as a whole is nice when you think its like that but its not .....) Anyway no more dots carry on folks, an overnight cutting room (do they still call them that?) an over night cutting room rendition of the nights exploits will have to do no matter the faults at this point. As for an outside my own body opinion if I were "some dude" channel surfing Sunday afternoon and I saw that stuff I would have stopped. For now good enough to hook'em extra air times would reel'em in.
At the time of this writing no repeats were known to be scheduled

My brother and I went and had a great time! It was really cool to be able to walk around the pits and the track!!! I think Robby is doing an awesome job, and the series is only going to get bigger and better. I thought it could have been cool to run the trucks up the center thru the peristyles, then back down the sides...that way they could have aired it out over the big gap right towards the crowd, and they wouldn't have had to slow for the two lanes joining together in the tight confines outside the peristyles. Overall I thought the track was innovative and awesome, and I can't wait to see what he has in store for the rest of the series! Good job Robby and SST!!!

The coliseum capacity is 92,000 people, so I think anything less than 75,000 the place would look empty. I know this doesn't answer your question, but if you see pics from across the stadium facing the press box you'll see there were more people there than live in my town! Frankly, being as new as this is, there were more people then I thought. I think the biggest question is I read that there was no Speed Energy at the concessions.....

In most instances, the Facility / Stadium owns the rights to the concessions with separate contracts for vendors.

Would assume they have an existing relationship contract with an energy drink provider or don't want one.

Venues generate a decent amount of revenue from concessions that presumable the promoter can't touch.
