I wish i could go I wish i could get my dad to buy tix would be kinda of like when i went to Caiiforina for labor day that was so much fun just me and dad!!

Yes we're driving figuring 12 hrs . Last time we went was before 9-11 so it was easy to cut thru Canada . Now w no passports were gonna have to drive down and around . From here well go NY - PA - OH - IN - IL then WI . When we went thru Canada , we were able to skip over to MI then took a ferry across Lake Michigan to Green Bay WI and up to Crandon .

Not sure where your leaving from but google map it and do Interstate 75 north in lower michigan. The speed limit is faster and less construction. Nice ride and you get to cross the Mighty Mackinac Bridge which is cool if you have never been over it. Just a suggestion. I live an hour away from Crandon hope to see ya there.

Thank you Wilbur your way looks alot faster . We're coming from Buffalo NY so we were taking I90 thru Erie PA and then over to Toledo OH but instead of catching 75 there we were continuing west on 90 thru IN and on over to Rockford IL where 90 becomes 39 near Beloit WI then its a straight shot north to Merrill WI and up to Rhinelander . I'm not sure but I think maybe your way was what we took when we cut thru Canada . We came back into the states at Port Huron but not sure of the rest .

We will be leaving South Bend, IN about 4.00am thurs morn aug 29th in a motorhome towing a black/flamed formula 4x4 jeep. If you see us, be sure to honk and wave. You will want to get past Milwaukee as early as possible because Harley is having it's 110th anniversary party that wknd and traffic thurs and friday are gonna be insane. The traffic back-up for the 100th party 10 years ago cost me a transmission in my dually.

Another thing you all might like about Crandon is there is camping . Plus instead of the grandstands you can also bring lawn chairs and sit on the hill along the main stretch .

I have grandstand (Farmer John or whatever) but if I can find a better spot on the hill I was planning on dumping the grandstand seats.

Cool we will have to meet up when we get there . You still got my cell number ? I've still got yours . We're staying at a hotel in Rhinelander , mom don't like camping lol . She's gotta have indoor plumbing and all the comforts lol .
