I try to do what I can WJM...

FYI,let's see if scoring works tonight.Motorbikes start at 11:00pm/pst (Class 22)
http://score-international.com/score-live/

Even though it's a work night, I'm going to try and stay up and watch the start, and at least part of the bikes. I'm really looking forward to this year. Hoping for a safe and great race for all the bikes. Still alittle worried though.

Tthere is alltel of dense fog rolling in early, motos are going to have a harder time, did not see Robby was prerunning, it was a blast, then i will have a cameo spot for the discovery channel, signed a release, lol, laters Gortari go back ti baja cameo back to get camping gear

Fog. Just what the bikes need...

The late start in the dark would have me a little worried too. At least one would have fresh eyes and arms. Thanks for the update.. you think the fog would dissipate when they get further in-land. Great to hear that Discovery Channel is down there getting footage. It'd be nice if off-road got a lot more attention. Have fun these next few days and be safe!

Yes, Robby and Kellon pre-ran

So far fog is from ensenada to san diego, might not be that bad in the mountains

With the bikes leaving tonight, and trucks/cars leaving tomorrow, is the first/last fifty or so miles the same track? If so is there a time limit to get through?

I'm hoping everybody stays safe. Looking forward to a great race. I'm in on a all night deal, will see lol

Pulled this from BJ Baldwin's fb page. He posted this yesterday. He's driving solo.

"Official qualifying is 7th. Because of the dramatic last 5 weeks this race is going to be the most challenging race I've ever done. Looking forward to this. It's a test for sure. Out of everyone in the #trophytruck field I'm the only one that is driving the whole #baja1000. No sharing the driving duties here. I like being responsible for my own mistakes.
Driving through the desert as fast as you can for 20 hours straight isn't easy. It takes a week to recover but it's worth it.
I love #Baja and I love all the fans and friends down here. Thanks so much for your support."

Any bets on what mile BJ's transmission blows up?
Mine,at or around RM630
