I'd love for Robby to have a fat GM budget and the spotlight of being poster boy for the new Colorado. See attached pic.

I also like the looks of this Colorado inspired racer. I like the taller fenders.

Not that anybody cares what I think, but I don't particularly like the curved thin "Willy's style" fenders, such as what's on Nasser's defunct buggly, and others.

The Brenthal picture is a CAD model. They say they will be at Dakar, but who really knows what these guys are up to.

Brenthal, Jefferies, etc., are all respectable builders, no doubt, but none of them can build for Dakar like RGM. They all need a pilot year. Now, if they teamed with RGM and let RGM specify/oversee/control the build, well then now they would essentially have built an RGM car.

As for Ford vs. Chevy, I'm with MK, LS7 all the way. I mentioned the Ford Coyote a while back only because this is a bad ass engine, with its' 4 valves/cyl, and twin overhead cams. But the LS7 is Dakar proven. The Coyote is not.

What's is so remarkable about Robby and RGM is that they can and will arrive at Dakar with an entirely new car this year, and not intending a new car pilot year, but intending podium finishes. This part of the Dakar drama alone makes it really fun, really interesting.
