With the 2014 Dakar Rally beginning in less than 45 days, here is a brief F.A.Q.

Just a thought, maybe the name is Gordoni, any me thinks
Speedy, you could be right. I'll watch the video again later. Are you hearing Robby say "Gordoni" in the video?
A Renault deal does seem WAY out there, but Robby does make WAY out there business moves.
Consider:
(1) Speed Energy Drink. What racer does this? Most racers are happy to drink the others koolaid.
(2) His persistent presence at the Dakar Rally. I know other Americans enter, but none "bring the show" like Robby.
(3) And now SST this year.
Also, you don't make a luxury SUV (I think he said that) in a vacuum. You don't make them in a race fabrication shop either. I guess you can, but you won't make very many.
Any deal Robby might ever make with a auto manufacturer makes me nervous. They are rich and powerful. They end up the winner. But you can't turn down an opportunity either. That's life, right?
Hey, I'm just playing with the puzzle pieces on the table.
Ok, I'll bite. I don't believe Renault makes an SUV. They do however make the Clio RS Gordini. The Clio is a direct competitor to the Mini Cooper.
There's a hatch battle going on. Perhaps Renault would like to battle Mini in a new arena.
Hatch battle
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Robby probably won't be driving Barbie's car for the rally..............This doesn't scream "1000 HP" to me.
Hey Guys, I think that you are forgetting that Renault has some very capable V8's in the super car class which power Vettil and Kimi in F1. While those motors are not streetable, the tech can be transferred. So maybe he cut a deal with Renault. He provides the chassis and they provide the body, power and the running gear. Or maybe it is just the design that RG provides.

Here's some commentary to go with the pic.
Cool pic. Love the whiteout effect.
