Your rival Robby Gordon also restarts at the Dakar. What do you expect from him?

Stéphane Peterhansel : I know that Robby Gordon takes up with a different concept of his car this time . But this I do not have too much information.

Stéphane Peterhansel : I realize that the media loves drivers such as Robby Gordon & the need for good stories . The problem with this, In the Dakar , there are clear rules for years. Not all other drivers adhere to the regulations , only he annoys me. That's not fair for the others. The second winner is the first loser . For me, the only goal is victory.

Is it you at all important that Robby Gordon participates again in the Dakar ?

Stéphane Peterhansel : I do not honestly care if he is or not.

Agreed, but (IMO) until RG is up Peters ass (or vice versa) at the end of the rally with both in contention to win, its really just shit talking.

En 2012, il remporte son quatrième Dakar auto sur une Mini du team X-Raid. Dominé en performances pures par Robby Gordon sur Hummer, certains lui reprochent d'avoir perdu son sang-froid en percutant un motard au milieu d'un gué au second tiers de l'épreuve3. Il n'écopera d'aucune sanction. Robby Gordon fut finalement déclassé pour véhicule non conforme (système de suralimentation moteur déclaré illégal après avoir été jugé conforme aux vérifications de départ), et Stéphane Peterhansel remporta la course en catégorie Auto.

In 2012 he won his fourth dakar with X Raid team mini. Dominated in pure performance by RG on Hummer, someones reproached him for losing his control by striking a biker in a river at the two third of the race. He got no sanction. RG has been finally relegated (out of the race) for car non compliance (engine intake system judged illegal after being judged legal during prerace checks) and SP won the race.

So finally everybody knows the real story, so sorry for that Peter

This is an all well and good discussion and a bit of opinion sharing, but, It seems to be a diversion, a vast conspiracy, on someone's part (?) to keep our minds off the fact that that last picture of RG's car was posted, what nearly 48 hours go, and someone said something about pics of the car being released on the 20th? We've not seen even a full side view, or horrors, a full front view.
