  1. Is Robby Gordon racing in the 2014 Dakar Rally? YES!
  2. What is the car number? 305
  3. What is he driving? A new design - called the HST
  4. Who is the navigator? Kellon Walch
  5. Is there going to be a 2nd car? No
  6. How come we haven't seen pictures of the car yet? It's still being built
  7. When will we see the car? Mid December
  8. Will the race be televised? Yes. NBC Sports Network TAPE DELAY recap show.
  9. How can we follow the rally? You're already at the right place.
  10. When does the rally begin? Stage 1 begins on Jan 5th.

The only thing that scares me is the low mileage they have done during the tests. Just 1500km.

Have any new specs on the HST been put out yet? Most recent photo seems to show what looks like trailing arms for the suspension. HST looks like a more compact version of the previous Hummer, which on paper sounds like a great idea. Still wonder why the Hummer name is used, since Hummer itself has gone bye bye.

Tires,wheels,brakes,transmission manufacture are about the only thing that are the same as old.

Just wondering if maybe Robby doesn't have something up his sleeve with the former execs at Hummer. He could be single-handedly rebuilding/reintroducing the brand. -I could easily see this transferring to a production/street car. Who wouldn't want one?

Good point there. Ford has a success with their Raptor F150. I could see a skunk works special Chevy as HST.
