STAGE 1 TRACKING

STAGE 1: ROSARIO > SAN LUIS

Connection 629km | Special Stage 180km | Total 809km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The competitors will wake up early to set off along the road in the region of Cordoba and start the race on some narrow tracks which will require the utmost vigilance. Each one will still be very fresh allowing them to tackle the stony sections or the blind jumps serenely. The competitors’ driving skills will be rewarded at the finish, where they will have already clocked up 800 kilometres. Although the gaps will not be significant at this stage of the race, it is nevertheless important to maintain their position in the part of the standings that they are aiming for!

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

I say they need to move the beginning of the race to like mid month.

Get the constalations in different alignment.

I don't see Hajas in the Brenthal truck ? Anyone ?

#346 Hajas, has not made it in,

#346 Hajas, made it in -4:01:02

All but 2 cars in and 1 is the Brenthal

Chicherit said fuel pressure problems stopped him for 1.5 hrs, anybody know Baldwins issues? How many are running gasoline and not diesel?

matt

I thought BJ had in/deflation issue's

Dakar.com sayd...

Gordon, on the finish line
The U.S. has crossed the finish line with 2h08'06 'delay on the winner of the day, the Portuguese Carlos Sousa (Haval). The driver of the Hummer No 305 has suffered several problems from the start of the special day. We find, prima facie, that has lost the rear hood of his prototype, which has apparently recovered a car from the organization

sounds like case of bad gas for americans no diesel problems tho

BTW, things start much earlier tomorrow.

Down not out. Hopefully issue can be fixed and carry on to tomorrow. Lots of rallying left...

Will there be stage highlights from Team SPEED like previous years?
