STAGE 2 TRACKING

STAGE 2: SAN LUIS > SAN RAFAEL

Connection 365km | Special Stage 433km | Total 798km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The fastest special stage of the rally, at least for its first part, will also be the one where drivers will have to face the first dunes. And it won’t just be a brief encounter with sand: in the last 100 kilometres, the exploration of the grey dunes of Nihuil will be even more intensive than during previous visits. The sand is more firm there, but the experience will provide a great deal of insight about each of the competitors’ technical skills. In short it will be a veritable test.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

CP1 isn't even on the map just a bunch of WP's

Well if Robby is on pace with peckerhandle he should be to the CP any thim cause Peter started 26 min ahead of him and it has been over 20 min since the last posted update.

If the equipment is running 100% he "should" (fingers crossed) be on pace OR faster than petergargler

TOG - Does the team have someone traveling with them that will be doing the SPEED stage videos like years past? Don't know if that has been mentioned yet or not.

Yes, but with all the challenges the team had yesterday, I would think there would be a delay in getting them. Hopefully soon!

Understood. I have no problem being patient. Just grateful that we still get that connection with the team. I look forward to those videos more than anything else because it makes us feel like we are right there with them. Thanks for the response.

This page seems to be posting a comment every 5 - 15 minutes. This is the only info I can find.

It is now more than 26 min since the last updated post which is greater than the starting time differance between Robby and Peter**.

Also info here. The same, but slightly different. You have to select between car, bikes, quads and trucks.

I don't know how true it is but in web travels earlier today it was mentioned that WP4 is also CP1 and will be the only CP until the finish?????

To me the excitement of the moment is:
(a) Are the troubles of yesterday behind us?
(b) Can we run up front? aka, are we fast?

+1
