STAGE 2 TRACKING
STAGE 2: SAN LUIS > SAN RAFAEL
Connection 365km | Special Stage 433km | Total 798km
COURSE OVERVIEW
The fastest special stage of the rally, at least for its first part, will also be the one where drivers will have to face the first dunes. And it won’t just be a brief encounter with sand: in the last 100 kilometres, the exploration of the grey dunes of Nihuil will be even more intensive than during previous visits. The sand is more firm there, but the experience will provide a great deal of insight about each of the competitors’ technical skills. In short it will be a veritable test.
The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

if it was the beginning and he came through the cp 15 then?
whatever, this is a joke, embarrasing!!!!! i better go to work
Dang , there goes the sealed cabin.....NO air conditioning..
.
To be competitive in the Dakar, takes a year long project with NO other distractions and racing other ralley's to season the equipment/team....I give him HUGE credit for having the Balls and Bucks to built test and take the green in what? 4 months? Its good for the SPEED product line, so in that sense it a victory so far
#312 is in, he started 20th behind robby
He started 17th today, so I hope he can at least make it in top 20 or so.
Chabot in an SMG buggy just finished, he started after Robby but just before Baldwin. So looks like the two Americans are running slower again.
look at this site http://trackingdakar.com/index.php?type=A
only Chabot and Alvarez started after RG and De Villeirs has raced well.
And PLEASE don't burn what you loved
Good luck Robby
I'm not burning him, just saying that both the American's are not at the top again. Not sure what is going on with Baldwin's rig though. The Toyo sight was pretty light on details yesterday.
excuse me, the burning was'nt for you, only for those who say "he would have done...."
Gotcha. Looking at the course the sand dunes are at the end of the course. Probably slowing a lot of vehicles down.
