STAGE 4 TRACKING

STAGE 4: SAN JUAN > CHILECITO

Connection 211km | Special Stage 657km | Total 868km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The strategy of the motorcyclists will come into play: initially their navigational skills will be seriously tested at the beginning of the morning, and then they will be faced with the problem of worn tyres, as they have already been over-used the day before. As for the drivers of cars, they will have an even more demanding route to tackle in the countryside. The Dakar’s competitors haven’t faced a special stage this long since the historical one from Zouerat to Tichit in 2005! They will have to cross rivers, descend the canyons in a Wild West setting and beware of the other participants: as these terrains are often wide open, it will be entirely possible to overtake fellow competitors.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

he finished the stage today.... lets just be happy about that and hope he can finish all the rest of them..... he is one of the FEW Americans in the race the rest of us are at home sitting at a computer.... I think we are all free to build our own car and try to race in the Dakar 2015 and do better.... Anyway I am just happy he finished today so we can watch him pass check points tomorrow

I miss the ole Hummer also. And I miss these...

Racing history, I love it.

Well, Robby finishes 10th on this extra long stage....hopefully he can win a stage, he is gradually moving up the chart with top 10 finishes.

in a couple of days the stages will be more to the advantage of buggies .... let's see what the orange rocket can do !

he is 14th at this moment

Yeah but it's tough having to play catch up from the get go.

After 20 cars in, Robby provisional 14th.

Well that sucks.....

I agree ... I thought these last 2 dirt/rock stages were the ideal for the HST to shine brightly.

We will have the stage 2 and stage 3 team speed recap videos available very soon!

COOL!!
Thanks

Thank you. Hard work. Doing great.
