STAGE 5 TRACKING

STAGE 5: CHILECITO > TUCUMAN

Connection 384km | Special Stage 527km | Total 911km

COURSE OVERVIEW

After two race days with completely separate routes, everyone will gather together to tackle the longest stage of the rally. They will need to be extremely resistant to overcome these two sections of the special stage which will primarily feature sand. All day long the competitors will make headway on off-piste sections: those who have poorly assessed the limits of their engine will constantly be on the verge of overheating and all the more so, as the region’s temperatures are generally very high. At the bivouac in Tucuman, the candidates for the podium will have been whittled down to a select few, as many of them will no longer be a part of this elite group. For many others, their timing and mechanical mishaps will only become apparent in the middle of the night.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

BJ thru 1 movin up

Rob's got a problem of some sort

noooooo

#309 is at wp2, he started behind rg

Really don't want to see a mini in first for any stage, at any wp point!

Everybody - Grab a can of Speed, close your eyes and make a wish that it is only a tracking problem, then open the can and enjoy.

That might work.

New car blues are about to put me down and its just day 5.

BJ will honk when he goes bye

In bikes Lopez and Coma are not showing, so maybe tracking issues… I hope :-/

Right, not working for DeVillers too but it's strange that RG showed at WP1 but not thereafter leading me to believe the trouble is different. I hope I am wrong

Well not that Robby would do this, but if they are really on it they wouldn't pull the tracking wire as to not give away their pace to the comp.???

It's been rumored to happen by others. Some dunes out there and with the HST flying it's hard on delicate tracking equipment lol
