STAGE 6 TRACKING

STAGE 6: TUCUMAN > SALTA

Connection 270km | Special Stage 424km | Total 694km

COURSE OVERVIEW

Once they have left Tucuman, the cars will head north and drive along part of the renowned Ruta 40, and continue on in the heart of one of Argentina’s most beautiful landscapes. The possibilities to widen the gap will be limited but the most skilled drivers may be able to seize the opportunity of adding a stage to their list of wins. A new trip to the mountains will take motorcyclists to the banks of the rivers. They will have to remain vigilant until the very end of the stage as the region is frequented to a great extent by animals of all sizes. Then they will finally be able to rest.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

low to 18th waaaaaaaaaaaaa: = (

Praying that Robby doesn't have the high engine temps like yesterday.

He could still be having engine temp issues. For the amount of time he is down this early in the stage, just gotta get it through to the end of the stage, a much needed rest day is tomorrow

Yep the crew has all day tomorrow to get that thing fresh and improved. Sunday should see the HST up front.

Wish Sunday was the rest day off Saturday, work Sunday

Yeah, plus Stage 7 on Sunday is at much higher elevations, reaching Salinas Grandes, up near 13,000 feet, so hopefully the temperature up there is a good amount cooler and RG can push the HST harder.

Chat will be up at at 11am/et

wooohoooooo

Is the rest day really a rest...or do the teams do major repairs/maint. on the cars?

nah, they still work, but at least they can work without the pressure of having to race a stage.

^which is HUGE

is possible that we can not recover the evolution of today and tomorrow, but we can still put up a fight in the next week, we will robby
