COURSE OVERVIEW

In addition to the distance, here the competitors will be put to the test by all the difficulties offered by the Atacama Desert… and will have to display all the qualities required for off-road races. After the mine tracks and the many rivers to cross, the competitors will have to distinguish themselves in the heart of the Dunes of Copiapo: the fastest motorcyclists are expected to spend seven hours behind the wheel. Needless to say that on this decisive day there will be no shortage of opportunities for competitors to make a winning comeback in the race. This will be the key stage of the 2014 edition.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Fist chance to check in. Damn rollercoaster day. I read through all the pages before yelling at the kids and dog in Spanish.
Sure the ASO is working with them. All the fans are screaming Robby Gordon (with accent). Not Mini drivers.
Did you notice the plug for businesses (sponsors)in the recap from Robby. Don't forget the marketing side of this.
Hell with the right sales guy that Tatanka hot sauce will be served at the bivouac in 2015.

Dakar is a race as anyone and that from the beginning with T Sabine who, I'm sure, would have loved RG and his spirit.
Congratulations to Robby who has " fighting spirit " and who does not admit shot down where many would have given up. Stock a lot of knowledge and expérience for 2015, it will be a great vehicle next year.And continue to the end of this dakar as well as you can. The orders of factories have never been liked on the Dakar (remember Todt and his penny to design the winner. I think Peterhansel will not be in the same team next year.
