STAGE 11 TRACKING

STAGE 11: ANTOFAGASTA > EL SALVADOR

Connection 144km | Special Stage 605km | Total 749km

COURSE OVERVIEW

In addition to the distance, here the competitors will be put to the test by all the difficulties offered by the Atacama Desert… and will have to display all the qualities required for off-road races. After the mine tracks and the many rivers to cross, the competitors will have to distinguish themselves in the heart of the Dunes of Copiapo: the fastest motorcyclists are expected to spend seven hours behind the wheel. Needless to say that on this decisive day there will be no shortage of opportunities for competitors to make a winning comeback in the race. This will be the key stage of the 2014 edition.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

??? I HOPE, not familair with the rules :(

I hope it's all just a bad dream.........hope......hope.......hope.......

Still not on the withdrawals list......That's a good thing!

I can't imagine the Mini team is happy about Peter and Nassir spilling the beans about being told to slow down. The fact that the two of them seemed to have no fear about telling the media about it may be the sign that they already know they'll be driving for other teams next year.

Rob made a comment earlier today about hearing peterhansel moving on to another team and I seem to remember seeing a video that lead you to believe this was his last year with mini.

Sounds like Peter is going to team with Loab at Peugout (sp?) next year so what does he care. Plus he must be steamed because, much like Robby, nobody tells him to slow down. I am surprised that Nasser backed off though. Maybe he didn't sounds like he broke a wheel today. All that said, get Mr. Dakar out of that hat with the M on it and I'd like him much better.

this is the very strong speculation. Which means it usually is going to happen.

I would love to see this happen. Watching Loab in WRC just got boring.

Can you spell tour de france
