I really doubt that bad gas was the reason for everything that occurred for him. It is however a reasonable explanation for most of the issues he has had so far. RG will come out with the info when he gets a proper setting to do so. Maybe that will be while still at Dakar or possibly after he gets back home.

Peter 7 seconds back on the overall thru WP6. I'm batting zero for infinity today so maybe there isn't a race going on.. but it sure appears that way.

As I said before Dakar is a race as none.
Congratulations to Robby who has " fighting spirit " and who does not admit shot down where many would have given up. Stock a lot of knowledge and expérience for 2015, it will be a great vehicle next year. And continue to the end of this dakar as well as you can. THANK YOU ROBBY and Team for giving it your all. Thanks a lot to TOG we appreciate all that you do on this site. French TV didn’t speak too much about RG and in fact I have followed the race on Planet Robby which was more in the follow-up of the real race than our TV which took care more sidelines than of the race. Great effort, after the original plans to race the proven Hummer had to be scrapped, Not many teams could have fab'ed up a Dakar scooter in that amount of time....Then, did development during the race, in the Bivy's!
