In the Dakar preview video there was the great drone shot showing NASCAR chassis in his shop. By my rough count, there's 10 Gen-5 cars on that wall, plus the Nationwide car from Montreal . If the door to NASCAR really is closed, why not sell them off? The Gen-5 cars can be converted to Gen-6 pretty easily from some of the articles I read last year. Wouldn't they be of use to somebody?

I also noticed a couple Gen-4 cars on the rack as well. Does he actually have the car he won with at the Glen and Sears Point in 2003?

Here's a fresh 2013 NNS roller for $12K. How much do you think a obsolete Dodge Cup roller is worth?

No idea. I was jokingly going to say list them on Racing Junk...

So pretty much put them on the front lawn with a "free" sign?

If I had a garage dedicated to my way of life it would have all kinds of old "Things" on the walls in the halls packed in stalls, mothballs, avoiding phone calls, where the rat crawls and every other place, space without discrace waiting to race or sit in place gathering dust starting to rust going for bust I would always trust.........................keeping all my SHIT.

The car in the ad is a Chevy and the ad expires in 76 days....what happens then...does it turn into a pumpkin?

He did sell his show cars, the street legal ones. I have a very reliable sorce on that info.

You're funny!

Zoom is a NASCAR fan and apparently a Robby Gordon fan and has dreams of his favorite driver , driving in the series he prefers most ( not a crime ). I myself have been a NASCAR fan for over 50 yrs. ( went to my first race in 1963 @ Riverside, Ca.) It used to be that I couldn't wait for Sundays. I know a lot of we Planeteers were on this site on Sundays as well. I personally have had waining interest the past few yrs. that I hold the 3 Stooges ( Helton , Darby , & Pemberton ) and the Prince ( Brian France ) responsible for that and the slow demise of NASCAR by changing it into a contrived circus , it's no longer the race but the scripted show . Some if not most of us are fans of all motorsports , some have a singular preferance others of us don't . Like ZOOM I would like to see Robby go back there and kick their arrogants asses. I know that won't happen but we all have dreams.

I agree 100 percent!!! I am a fan of Robby, not NASCAR. I would watch him if he decided to race horses, but one can dream that he would go back and teach them idiots a lesson. I would be a happy man if I never heard the name Jimmie Johnson again!!!

AMEN ROBERT !
I still watch NASCRAP but am nowhere near as into as I used to be . My Sunday revolved around the race now its like if I see it fine , if not oh well . I think the biggest thing with the 3 stooges is they're so busy trying to bring in these new fans they've alienated all us old school fans that got them to where they are today .

We watch / follow almost every series every weekend. Our family loves and adores all forms of motorsport, 2 wheels and 4. IMO NASCAR has almost overexposed their series to a point where we watch others - NHRA and Indy, and go to Montreal for the F1 about every other year.

because of the NASCAR exposure in North America, I would say if he could put together a couple of races (The Glen and Sonoma for example) to help springboard the SST Series and SPEED, it could pay dividends....

Not only did he have a good fan following at both those events, but the media loved to talk about him there as well.
