2014 Mint 400 Race Discussion

Join in and discuss all the action from the 2014 Mint 400. Robby Gordon will drive the #77 Toyo Tires/SPEED Energy/Traxxas Racing TT #77. Qualifying is on Thursday, March 13th and raceday is on Saturday, March 15th. Live chat will be available on Saturday during the Mint 400.

Those attending the race in person, the SPEED Energy Souvenir hauler WILL be located in downtown Las Vegas. ( 6th street aka Raptor Lane ) - across from the Traxxas display.

Wow! Rm2 on first lap? Ran it that hard in qualifying and didn't rebuild? Beat it hard at Parker for 425 miles and held up. Wonder what freak thing broke.

As much as it kills me to say , no point in running just to finish Buzzzz . Robby isn't going for the championships just running the big event races . Robby got some good publicity for SST , had a good showing in qualifying , and was a good test for the next desert race on the schedule so it wasn't a bad wknd just not what we all hoped .

As you can see Mike, RG fans a little frustrated. What a way to start the 2014 season....all DNF's. I just got back from the race and RG not making it to Spectator Area #1 was only the half of it.......

To all concerned, RG is on his way home....truck on the trailer on I-15. However.....these guys are really hauling some a$$! Going to be a good finish I think...to bad RG is not in the mix!
