SST's in St. Pete

Anyone going? I'll be there Saturday for sure, and probably Sunday too.

Already spread the SST love on all my RC forums . Even posted a thank you to Mike and Mark Jenkins ( the owners of Traxxas ) for stepping up and sponsoring the series . As for the full sized RC , it's already been done . They made a full scale Traxxas Slash ( rc short course truck ) and ran it at Crandon .

To quote a friend who may as well have been quoting me when he said," I make mistakes, thats the one thing I do real well". I totally missed that drivers list thing and have visited the sst site many times. I'll quietly go back to my constant lurking. The marketing team is excellent and I'm far too fat to fit in an SST. Gas On!

We're planning to be there about noon Saturday, and staying through the Pirrelli World Challenge race. 1yr old grandson will be there, for his first race experience. If weather predictions include a high likelihood of rain, we'll go Sunday instead.

Message me here, and we can arrange to meet up somehow.

Hey TOG, Any chance of one or more guest star drivers for St. Pete?

I like the line-up, but grabbing a few bigger names now and again would really help grab headlines and expand the interest. Also, and forgive more for my ignorance, but what about guys like BJ, Jessie James, Carmichael etc.? Originally, I thought maybe it had to do with SPEED/Other drink company conflicts, but Rob Mac doesn't seem to have that problem. Might really be nice to have a few combo events with Carmichael's Moto series.

Keegan Kincaid, Scotty Steele, Justin Lofton, Robby Gordon, Apdaly Lopez, Rob MacCachren, Arie Luyendyk JR, Mike Jenkins, Craig Potts, Sheldon Creed, Jerett Brooks, PJ Jones.

Do we know if all 12 drivers are there and ready for practice?
