GREAT JOB everyone its been an interesting year for the sport, many teams have not survived. but Robby and RGM did what they had to do and we will be ther in 2009! now lets go OFF-ROADING!
I'm a fan
Nice job and next year lets race for wins
Thanks Robby
It's been a long season, but seems like progress was made. Nascar is not an easy sport, especially for a one car team. Looks like RGM has made some progress in getting the right people in place for a better team in 2009. A thumbs up to RG and everyone at RGM who has persevered. Onward and upward!

Now, let's get a win (or two) in the sand at Baja and Dakar!!! Gas On RG!!!
Next year should be a really good start. The team should feel lucky to be a part of a real (for once) driver who really runs the team with no distinction as to who calls the shots.

I hope RG and Roger Penske come to terms on an engine program and shared resources that RG can use at Penske. If not I would bet he would be tied to a Yates engine connect.

His team is not the same old same old. With the addition of outsiders it should continue to nurture new thinking and spins of old thoughts.

I hope he gets a very solid Pit Crew training and practice regiment during the off season that includes 3-6hrs a day of non stop practice, review and crit. Also I hope new outside the box execution of the actual pitting process takes place to find seconds not 10ths.

It would also be wise for the newly expanded facility to add a fitness modual that includes weight training, steamroom, locker room and a morning time trainer to keep both RG and the at track crew sharp and well winded the entire season.

I hope RG also finds new ways to communicate at the track what the other teams are doing during the race to expand RG's own strategy during the race.

I'm really interested to see how the Dakar program fares this year. It should be good because RG has put all his effort last year aimed at the program for the following 2 years. Shouldn't be so crazy this year.

The Baja program should be very good this year too... His truck is so seasoned we should see a solid top 3 again.

CORR cancelled the last race this year and I hope RG can find an in to scoop that mess up and continue to follow his passion for his own OR series.

Prelude to The Dream... Win the mother fucker.
Whew! I'll take the top 35. Loads of drama for Robby this year. I see this team starting to turn the corner. Plate stuff was awesome this year. Road courses were a little disappointing. I think the big gains will come on the cookie cutters. Short tracks need some more effort. I've been down this single car team road before with Ricky Craven & Cal Wells in days gone by. It ain't easy, but that's precisely why I'm here. It's easy being a JJ or Jeffie fan. When success comes for the 7 bunch it's so much more rewarding. All in all great job by the guys. Gas on in 2009! Go have fun in the dirt Robby.
Well put Fly. I am looking forward to great things in 09. RGM had some breakthroughs and strong runs at the end of the year to have momentum right off the bat.
A toast to Robby, RGM and surviving all the shit they had to put up with this year, and heres to 09!
You guys have the most heart, drive, determination, and pride in what you do, it's inspiring. We know you guys put in serious hours for the team and even though the odds are against you at times you continue on, and thats what makes us proud to be RGM fans.
I don't know if congrats is in order. I mean really, don't we all expect more from Robby and his team? Top 35 should never be a goal, that's like settling for just being a decent driver and not a GREAT driver. I want them to shoot to be the best not a bunch of "oh well, we did what we could and finished 34th". How is that drive, attitude and the willingness to be the best. it's not and I don't think anyone, including Robby, should stand for that attitude. If that was the case Jack would have given up on the beanstalk, David would have never defeated Goliath and Evander would have quit after Mike Tyson ate his ear for supper! I'm glad the top 35 is secure for all the people who work for Robby but come on folks.
OK guys, the congrats (at least from me) is because another year has passed along with (stay with me now) 1 major points deduction (lifted), 2 engine supliers, 3 CC's, multiple legal battles,& last but not least a slew of team members coming,& going. Still this team has managed to stay not only afloat, but inside the top 35,& locked in for the first five races of '09. So MEEEEE,& Partman, sorry boys but somebody deserves a freekin toast. Not that I like all the damn changes. Keep in mind, I'm the one that was lookin for consistancy before Walter was hired. Also, some of those team members who were on the "going" side, I call friends. Do I appreciate the tatics? NO. Do I think RGM could be in a better positon? YES. Could RGM be in a worse position? Absolfreekinlutely
Add to that list the race weekends with a flat black car.
I seem to remember when the Daytona fine was first handed out, people (including RG) were upset because that points loss could impact his abilty to make the Chase.....
