The debate is still flowing on RDC lol . Did Robby cheat by using the short course tire ? A few of us have already seen this thread but for those who haven't heres a link to the 1st page of the discussion .

YOU CAN'T CHEAT when everyone has the same option...............like the time I put lead in my bowling ball or the time I ran 102 octane to clear an O2 sensor code...............there is NO SUCH THING as CHEATING..............unless you hide in the trunk of the batmobile to find out where the Bat Cave is..........

I said the same thing .........
1st off this is the first time SCORE has done qualifying like this to where it was at an entirely different venue than the race itself . So why not try something new ?

Secondly show me in the rule book where it says you can't . The whole idea of the TT class is open rules and run whatcha brung . That's what makes it such an awesome class .

3rd and lastly there were other teams there that run both short course and desert ( Rob Mac and Bryce for an example ) that could've done the same thing . The fact that they didn't , well that's on them . Robby was just ballsy enough to try it . It could've just as easily back fired on him as it worked .

So Sheldon is running part of the 1000. Does he have the financing or sponsors to run Dakar or is it to early for those thoughts yet? The guy can sure wheel an SST.
