STAGE 2 TRACKING

STAGE 2: VILLA CARLOS PAZ > SAN JUAN

Connection 107km | Special Stage 518km | Total 625km

COURSE OVERVIEW

Any rest will be short-lived, because before reaching San Juan, the competitors will have a particularly busy schedule: quite simply the longest special stage in the rally, which is varied enough to unsettle even the most experienced of drivers. Hard terrain at the start of the race will be followed by dusty sections in the middle of the day and a sandy stretch to finish. This is the first real test, which can only be successfully overcome through constant vigilance.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

ok so it's over. i'm sick about that. leaving with much hope to lose everything on the second stage ....it not worth the try...

lo ultimo que se pierde son las esperanzas, las esperanzas regresaran con el viejo HUMMER H3

40 cars showing arrival ASS per Dakar site, Robby not one of them. Last one listed was 2h23mn out of lead.

Yes, still not showing him at the finish…. :-(

been busy, just checked in have 365 messages can't keep up- what happened, please ?

@ speedy We had brake problems right at the start, and lost 45 mins, and then died again right before the finish, and are still waiting for a tow. We're not the only ones having problems though : Looks like a lot of other drivers had costly breakdowns today.

Just speculating, with this long stage is there a chance that they and others are simply running out of fuel?

Robbys in 43rd 4:07 back WTF

That would be quite the embarrasment....wouldn't be the first time however.

in. 4:07:36 back

We are shown on the NL site as arrived 4h07 down on nasser al-attiyah
