Connection 239km | Special Stage 458km | Total 697km

COURSE OVERVIEW

This is the first of the rare special stages in which all categories will compete. At the start of the race, the most confident drivers will be able to take advantage of the fast tracks to try to move up in the overall standings. But the temptation to do so may be risky, particularly in the hard-to-handle fesh-fesh areas where absolute self-control is the only guarantee of success. Overtaking here requires precision handling to the extreme.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Happiness is mini's in the rear view mirror.

Robby got 3rd, Russian won it and Yazeed got 2nd

That's closer to what I wanted!

Man what a finish for the top 2, 20 secs apart after four hours off road

Wonder if that's the closest stage win ever?

Robby won a stage by 1 second! A few years ago and i remember his tracker didn't work the entire stage. Then he popped up at the finish 1 second ahead!

His first stage win in the VW Toureg he beat Peterpencil by a second as I vaguely recall.

I think u are correct but that was a prologue stage…very short…all the times were close. The one i was thinking of was the Hummer. May have been the Central Europe Rally the year DAKAR was cancelled.

The mind is unfogging, I think I remember it now, but not sure which rally.

My memory doesn't remember that, glad your's does.
This is one to remember and to have electronic back-up for the brain...

Kudos to the Speed Crew!
Bust Hump all night & watch RG Fly.
Good Work!

Put her back together so she could fly!!! Feels like a W.
