2015 BAJA 1000 Race Info & Discussion

Join in and discuss all the action from the 2015 Baja 1000. Robby Gordon returns to the wheel of the #77 SPEED Energy/Toyo Tires Trophy Truck ,Friday November 20th

Qualifying will be held at the Off-Road track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway 7 p.m. PT, Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Race day TT's will start in Ensenada at approximately 11:00am PT Friday, Nov. 20. Schedule link http://score-international.com/baja-1000/2015-baja-1000-schedule RG rolls off approx.. 11:08am PT after Qing 5th

I heard there was cattle blocking the course... and stuck. Did not hear of any mechanicals. On the tracker I saw he was stopped for a while (stuck?) But I have no clue really! I heard cell reception was crap so there were very few updates. I haven't poked around really to find a recap at all.

Per MJ's link above in his post, RG when to pass a trophy truck and ran off a small cliff and got stuck.

this footage pretty much covers it, Thanks to the Tavo 21's chase guys for the help. Notice the TT nosed in behind RG? Ah, that is stuck in my book.

I'll speculate no Glamis for Robby this year. I'm guessing all hands on deck in NC to finish the Gordini's. The SST's had to be prep'd and shipped to Sydney. JMO
