STAGE 4 TRACKING

STAGE 4: SAN SALVADOR DE JUJUY > SAN SALVADOR DE JUJUY

Connection 201km | Special Stage 418km | Total 619km

COURSE OVERVIEW

Marathon 1: No Mechanics! On many levels, the competitors face their first real test here. The special section takes place at an average of 3,500m altitude, with incessant changes in pace resulting from alternating sandy and rocky terrain. This grueling route will be on the agenda when everyone already has 2,500km in the saddle or bucket seat, which is already exhausting for the lower placed drivers. First and foremost, this is the start of a very particular marathon stage, with a closed area for the vehicles... and for the competitors.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Yeah but if a mini driver were to bitch they would fix it.

yeah that's strange

Hey TOG did you see my post about the TaTanka sauce on day3 diss?
A link on the main page may help if that is possible.

Muligans start at P16
Van loon finished 3 P40 so mulligan Pons finished P17

So 16 get put behind 17?
Now that is a crock of shit if I ever heard one.
But hey it is ASO rules I guess.

I get a feeling RG is up to something. He is either playing it very safe as he has sponsorship issues and needs to make sure he makes the end. Or he knows more about the second half and feels it is going to kill a bunch of cars. Mark Coma did say the rally gets harder and harder each day.

Personally I am glad it is raining as this rally would be extremely boreing without the mud making it a little difficult. If it keeps up this way RG should just bring a Subie next year as long as it doesn't downpour again.
The into for each stage says "Raceday chat will be available throughout the entire 2016 Dakar Rally". I haven't seen it up yet. Is it going to be up tomorrow? If not, please remove the statement. If its a cost/bandwith/tech issue perhaps consider just setting a yahoo messenger chat group and post a link. Or google chat or whatever....
Wow Roy, that's pretty commanding. If it a cost thing how about opening your wallet.
All of us on here should have put some money in to the site as we are all happy to take the inside info and watch the vids etc. I've donated from UK and I trust my fellow Europeans have done so as well.

Thank you

RG should recruit a french guy for his Co-Pilot who is good at arguing with org officials. Guaranteed win!
