STAGE 4 TRACKING

STAGE 4: SAN SALVADOR DE JUJUY > SAN SALVADOR DE JUJUY

Connection 201km | Special Stage 418km | Total 619km

COURSE OVERVIEW

Marathon 1: No Mechanics! On many levels, the competitors face their first real test here. The special section takes place at an average of 3,500m altitude, with incessant changes in pace resulting from alternating sandy and rocky terrain. This grueling route will be on the agenda when everyone already has 2,500km in the saddle or bucket seat, which is already exhausting for the lower placed drivers. First and foremost, this is the start of a very particular marathon stage, with a closed area for the vehicles... and for the competitors.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

I just can't imagine what is worth an hour. If memory serves some of them Nasser had a speeding penalty last year of like 5-10 minutes, how is Robby doing it worth an hour.

Special gift from ASO. maybe?

I've only been on here for the past 2 years but I find it interesting that as you look down the penalty column that only the Gordinis have been hammered ( time wise).. As a Robby faithful it makes you want to give them the middle finger.

Well now I'm pissed, my DVR didn't record the NBCSN show so now have to wait for the middle of night replay to find out why the missing hour.
Didn't say.

you really didn't miss anything

It wasn't on at the 5:30 time, as I discovered when I went to watch it. Not until 11:30 or something stupid.

The Toyos hooked up today a little to well.
RG is still ahead of last years position overall ! Great job Teamspeed

The tow out of the mud hole is my guess for the penalty.

except the other's that got pulled out didn't get a penalty

If they did call it unauthorized "assistance" (which its not) it would be a 6hr penalty minimum. Most likely a combination of speeding in speed control zones.
