STAGE 6 TRACKING
STAGE 6: UYUNI > UYUNI
Connection 181km | Special Stage 542km | Total 723km
COURSE OVERVIEW
The longest special section of the Dakar takes place on the 6th day of consecutive racing. And that is not the only difficulty of this operation, which will take place between 3,500 and 4,200m in altitude. The pace and surfaces change constantly, alternating between sand and rock, which may be disconcerting, especially if it rains. Glimpses of the Salar d’Uyuni are but one of the visual delights on the agenda. Meanwhile, the truck category, which will race separately on this 6th stage, will visit the home town of the President Evo Morales.
The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Thanks for the start times TOG.
An early start lets me se most of the stage as I will be going in at 11:00 for surgery to reattach my bicep tendon that I tore Sunday.
As you seen last night I dropped you $22 for the cussing box and a laugh.
No problem Carl! Can't the doctor wait until after Dakar? :)
Unfortunately no they say the longer I wait the more nerve damage there will be.
Guess that is life with getting friggin old.
dang Carl! My b-i-l had this happen in Oct, will be getting back to work at end of this month! Heal up, it will take quite a bit of time, then physical therapy.
Thanks they said at least 6-8 weeks in cast/sling then 10-12 weeks theraphy so your time sounds about right.
No idea how it even happened. I started to push on a bumper and barely even started pushing and heard and felt 2 pops. Hurt like a M%$#@fer.
Let us you when you're back home and the doc didn't screw up and reattached it to your forehead.
If they sow it in the wrong place lets hope it is to my dick so every time I move my arm it will pleasure me.
I am using one of those provisional mulligans so I don't have to pay the cuss box today.
Tog's times are right on, but the Dakar website may be in error.
I think they had a time zone shift when crossing from Argentina to Bolivia.
We, in MST time are now 3 hrs different and it was 4 hrs prior.
Dakar has it listed as GMT-4
So, that would make it 9:25am/et Robby rolls off.
