Kudos to Robby Gordon

Some of you know that I am also a Petty fan. The times are currently not good over at PE with the news of them laying off another group of employees. Due to sponsorship woes the team is basically down to one team and that one has only about 1/2 the races sponsored. The future does not look promising.

Contrasting that with Robby Gordon Motorsports, I say that Robby has done one helluva great job keeping things intact. Kudos my man. May 2009 bring better circumstances and results. You deserve it.

It's also interesting to see everyone in the garage laying off employees, while RGM hasn't reduced its staff at all. We'll just have to see how that affects them next year.

Robby didn't reduce his staff at all this year huh? Buddy where have you been? Robby just put a spin on it..."restructuring". RGM however, will live to race another day. Thats more than can be said about a few bigger teams, thought to be stronger than RGM this time last year.

he laid off a bunch of people over the year and didn't replace them it just wasn't as noticeable.

a driver owner situation may just be the ticket this coming year. can you imagine where RGM would be had they been bought out or teamed up with somebody...like many of us were hoping for. RG really does have vision...and he's still in tha game. when some of the biggest teams in the sports history are headed for the lifeboats he's still bobbin around making shit happen. GAS THE F___ ON!!!
