STAGE 10 TRACKING
STAGE 10: BELEN > LA RIOJA
Connection 485km | Special Stage 278km | Total 763km
COURSE OVERVIEW
The Fiambala dunes have become one of the decisive stages of the Dakar. This year, they feature at the heart of the most critical rally sequence, when drivers and their vehicles will have to demonstrate their aptitude for extreme endurance. Moreover, the day’s stage presents the longest dune section in the shared history of the Dakar and Fiambala, off-piste for most of the time. In short, an open door for desert specialists.
The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

14:20 : Cars: Loeb back on track
Confirmed: Sébastien Loeb got stuck in the sand. The nine-time world champion is back in the race after a stop that cost him just over 10 minutes.
I'm telling you, ASO is completely un-bias with the live feed comments. Look if you scroll back a few days or so you can find a comment about De Rooy...I think...somewhere!
Peter must have gotten re-fueled by the chopper so he didn't need to stop this stage!
didn't need fuel they carried him over the sand.
They must have gone back for Despres after they dropped off Peterhansel
RG should be in sand so see what happens.
I show RG at WP5 ??
Freakin tracker.... f5 and back to wp/3I think you're looking at the "Virtual Standings" - as projected by where a car is currently running. Click on the waypoint on the little map and it will show who has actually passed that waypoint.
There's something I don't understand.
If the participants started in packs, shouldn't some of them have identical start times? And if the start times are incorrect, is the course time / variation accurate or not?
We just follow the race we have NO idea how things work.
