why would they? show him roll the truck 8 miles in to the race? With only an hour to cover all of it Robby's performace did not merit any attention.
Because it makes for good TV. NASCAR fans watching feel they have a little attachment.
It was nice to see the race from the helicopter's perspective. THere is nothing like the real thing of being there.
RG usually never gets any TV time anyway unless he has an outstanding run. The reason for that is BF Goodrich is the main sponsor of this show. Think back and try to remember how many Toyo guys they showed on TV today................0
They could have at least shown the rock he hit...lol...

Thank goodness for PlanetRobby.com for having some Baja photos and links to videos...lol...
It sucked....12 and half hours of racing covered in 40 minutes!! You can find more coverage on youtube!! lol
Well, since I missed the broadcast I'm at least glad to see I didn't miss anything.
i am with you ms gibby missed the broadcast so it looks like i did not miss much and if there was some robby on there my friends at the planet would have posted a link for us to check out if our boy was on.
Look who sponsored the broadcast. Did you think he'd get air time when Toyo is a sponsor of his? And since he hasn't finished a race in a bit, that didn't help. BJ got quite a bit of mention, but he didn't even get a real interview. NBC doesn't impress me much. I loved the race footage though.
Don't blame NBC, these are Independently Produced shows that is sponsored by BF Goodrich, they sell to NBC with all the 22 minutes of commercials. All NBC does is offer a time during the non peak time on Sunday, they have already made the money.
