What someone writes on this page it is no different than the yahoos we endured on the message boards at Nascar.com ions ago. They come and go, but Robby's true fans will stay and say we really don't care what some stuffy CAMS might say. It's not like I was planning on going to Australia anytime soon. Maybe the CAMS leadership are just really into their no burnouts allowed rules. Maybe they are just a tad irritated that an American could prove to be so popular among the young Australians and bringing Speed Energy drink along was probably giving them to many wrinkles. I just hope they weren't penalizing Robby because he is an American!

It doesn't bother me being told I just don't get it because I just don't care! I'm a Robby fan! How many times have we heard Robby get told he couldn't do something, Dakar! No Motorola because of who Nextel or was it Sprint;no monster at the tracks because of Red Bull; No Speed Energy at the tracks because of Amp; No Speed Energy at the whatever event because of Rockstar; Lets penalize Robby because we think he took a short cut; threw out roll bar padding; threw a helmet; called MW a POS; egged on to throw an alleged punch; AND decided to do his own victory lap in a Nationwide race and get told he had to sit out the next cup race. BTW whatever happened to Marcus Ambrose?

Laura my dear THAT IS THE BEST POST YET ! Couldn't have said it any better myself . Hell one of the reasons I even started rooting for Robby was cause he's always been the " rebel , " the " black sheep " , Mr " fight the system " . He's always done things his way or not at all . And THATS what makes Robby such a BAD A$$ ! If you don't like Robby for who he is or what he does , here's an idea go follow all the nascrap sheep , drink the coolaid and root for Dale Jr or Princess Danica . We here at the Planet of Robby stick by our driver no matter what and if some people don't like it well they can kiss our a$$es

I was at the rollbar padding race, that was something. It makes me happy to watch the France's sport continue to get hurt. They put money ahead of quality racing and fans for years. Sorry to see stockcar racing decline, but that's what happens when greed takes the wheel.

Marcos came back to Australia and found the competition had moved on. He was slower than a turtle compared to the rest.

Nice if you put your brain into gear before posting, Instead of talking absolute rubbish. He left the team ( Run by Roger Penske) and retired. He admitted he was too slow, something difficult for Marcos to admit

Robby Gordon’s visa ban lifted in Australia

Robby Gordon is free to apply for a competition visa in Australia once again, after being banned earlier this year following his burnout antics in Darwin.
The Stadium Super Trucks owner and competitor came under fire from both local police and the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport for illegally doing a burnout in his truck in downtown Darwin back in June.
Gordon was summoned to Darwin local court where he was fined AUD$4150. He was then slapped with an indefinite visa ban from Australian governing body CAMS, which meant he was unable to compete in the country.
CAMS has now lifted the ban, thanks to a written apology and an AUD$10,000 donation from Gordon to the Australian Road Safety Foundation.
“CAMS can today confirm it has received a written apology from Robby Gordon following an incident in Darwin earlier this year,” read a statement from the governing body.
“Gordon has also donated $10,000 to the Australian Road Safety Foundation.
“The apology and donation were received following a recent CAMS Disciplinary Tribunal hearing where Gordon was found to have breached CAMS National Competition Rules.
“As a result of the Tribunal hearing, Gordon has submitted a written apology and made a donation to the Australian Road Safety Foundation. Gordon is now welcome to compete in motor sport in Australia.
“In his apology, Gordon said ‘it was not my intention to engage in any actions that were inconsistent with, or prejudicial to the interests of motor sports in Australia’.
“He added he was a ‘big fan of Australian motor sports’ and wished to ‘support and see Australian motor sport grow’.”
The Stadium Super Truck series is a popular support category on the Supercars bill, this year running the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide and the Perth and Darwin rounds.
