Join us for the Dakar Rally's fourth day on Jan 6, 2009 , right here and chat about the action during the 4th stage.Robby sits in 9th overall, only 34 minutes from the lead.

Stage 4 - Tuesday, January 6
Jacobacci > Neuquen
Connection: 4 km | Special: 459 km | Connection: 25 km | Total: 488 km
At the start of this stage, the rocky passageways will make heavy demands on the arms of motorcyclists, while those who are accustomed to “wadis” will be obliged to negotiate the Argentinian “rios” with the same careful attention. Next, the first sandy portions and the long kilometers of off-road will thrill those who love driving them. Careful now! Mistakes can begin to be costly: the stage toward Neuquen has all the ingredients of a trap. By taking on more or less of a lead, the favorites can begin to show themselves and provide indications of a ranking that just might last.

looks like we lost some time on the leader
wow between KM136 and KM180 301 302 and Robby all were within 1 second!
Overall Robby looks like he moved up to 8th so far...
Keep me up to pace. At work i can't use the tracker. Thanks.
10:35 - Car - Terranova 3rd after 102 km

Now that the first 13 cars have completed 102 km of the special, Argentine Orlando Terranova (BMW) is in third place, 22" behind the leader Carlos Sainz, but 40" ahead of American Robby Gordon and his Hummer, who is now in 4th position.
I see 6 cars through cp1 but no HUMMER
no time for RG at cp1 yet
By the looks of the route he should get fast again near the end... I hope.
RG should be coming through CP1 anytime now...he started almost 1/2 behind leader..........my bet he will be second when he comes through...
I just woke up, it's all good right?
If we don't get an update on him in next 10 minutes or so....I'm going with tracker being all scullied...
even if robbys 1st he'd still be about the 9th car to post a time i believe
