Saudi Arabia is +8 hours on Eastern Time / +11 on the West Coast.

December 31st, the Rally Raid starts in Sea Camp, Saudi Arabia and races North than South East before racing to North to the city of Dammam.

WEATHER: CAR RACE HALTED AT CP3

The degradation in weather conditions has made it no longer possible for the organisers to guarantee the best safety conditions for the competitors, so the crews in the car and truck categories have been halted at CP3 (after 377 km). The rankings for the day will be established from the times achieved at this point.

CHICHERIT WINS STAGE 3 | T1

Guerlain Chicherit has achieved the best time on the day’s special. The Frenchman completed the stage with a lead of 3’26’’ over Henk Lategan and more than 5’ over Orlando Terranova. The day’s losers feature in particular Carlos Sainz, who ground to a halt for almost half an hour and relinquishes command of the general rankings. The Spaniard finished almost 1 hour behind the day’s winner.
