Saudi Arabia is +8 hours on Eastern Time / +11 on the West Coast.

December 31st, the Rally Raid starts in Sea Camp, Saudi Arabia and races North than South East before racing to North to the city of Dammam.

Sébastien Loeb launched an all-out attack in his determination to fill the shoes of the bikers and open the way in stage 7, but he was caught by a group of competitors with whom he went flat out all the way to the finish. The BRX driver came in ninth in the special and gained just under 3 minutes on Nasser Al Attiyah in the general standings.
