January 5th, the Rally Raid starts in Alula, Saudi Arabia and races South East before racing to the North to the city of Yanbu.

The Honda factory riders Nacho Cornejo and Ricky Brabec have caught up with Ross Branch and are now getting their share of bonuses too. Branch has scooped up 1′33″, Brabec 54 seconds and Cornejo 27 seconds at the 96 km mark.
