Stage 8 - Sunday, January 11

Valparaiso > La Serena

Connection: 245 km | Special: 294 km | Connection: 113 km | Total: 652 km
After a day of rest on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, an easier restart has been programmed. On mid-range mountain roads, driving hotshots should be able to really strut their stuff. The experts in car positioning, trajectory and sudden braking will show how it’s done. But for the rally leaders, there is certainly more to be lost than won during this stage.

we live to Rally another day..........

I still think we are going to hear about something between 180 and 248 that cost him about 10 minutes
It seems most lost significant time to Sainz from CP1 to 248. Was there a fuel line at CP1? Obstruction?
Tugawar with a rock...bet he got caught up in quad traffic...who knows. Can't wait to find out. Another day down!
NO refueling fo cars only cycles....
Yeah, my XR is restless.
Depping, Miller and Roma were all so close, but no one had anything for Sainz today.

All in all, a good solid day for RG.

Tomorrow is a long special with a lot of terrain and elevation change. Should be a challenging day for the top teams.
Hopefully the stage doesn't get shortened.
Survived for another stage, attrition attrition attrition
If they did RG, will kick Andy ass. I found it pretty funny that at the end the video yesterday Andy saying "RG and I worked out our communication problem". I was like, dude you have been a navigator for 4 rallys and now you are ironing out the communication. What the hell.
how manny stage wins does Robby have all together including
central europe
Stuck against a rock early on according to Dakar.com. Sorry if this is old news.
Way to early to be the problem at the end.

10:50 - Car
309 - Gordon loses time...

The third to start this morning, Robby Gordon (Hummer) got stuck against a rock when crossing a dried river bed after 49 km of the day’s special stage. The American was able to resume after a few minutes, but Spaniard Nani Roma (Mitsubishi) was able to catch up and overtake him as a result.
