Stage 10 - Tuesday, January 13

Copiapo > Copiapo

Connection: 20 km | Special: 666 km | Connection: 0 km | Total: 686 km
The day’s special is simply the longest and most difficult of the rally. As on the previous day, the competitors will face a series of dunes at the end of the day that stretch over a hundred kilometers. And in this area, even the leading specialists will be faced with something new. The Chilean dunes are veritable mountains of sand, and pilots must learn to climb and descend their sides over more than one kilometer. Another unknown: due to the extreme heat of the region, no one knows exactly how the sand will behave. In any case, remaining clear-headed will be imperative all the way to the end.

This should be a great stage for Robby.
It's Wabbit hunting season!

thats great!!! lol
Just hope they don't shorten the course................
They did.
This will be the most epic stage of the dakar. Expect serious movement on the leader board. Andy needs to polish his navigation antennas for tomorrow so once the hummer takes the lead, it stays on course.
The one thing that i'm not to keen on with this stage is there are 5 "Fast track" areas with in this stage. hopefully Robby doesn't loose any more time in those area to the VW's..
This will be a good one. RG needs to make no mistakes because De Vulvas is going to to be fire to the floorboard because he got his ass kicked today.

RG should just kick back and watch from a distance because really there is no major time to be made up. He should just shoot for 7-12 minutes back. If Roma has 30 minutes worth of problems RG can put it to him on stage 12. (if Roma makes it that far)

Perhaps RG should carry some extra oil with him for Mark if he neeeds it.... NOT!
Roma will be toast before the end of the stage. They barely made it through the last set of dunes and had to stop to let it cool down. Then pray for someone to break and we have a podium!
It would be cool if we had some off road races in the US that went through dumont....

Oh wait I forgot about protected species like the rare bird the bearded whooping snatch.
yes, it's demise is ever-widening...... you have to nurture it....
