I was there for the whole Baja shooting/filming. There was lots of school stuff they didn't show in that episode. Hopefully, they will show it in future episodes. Have fun on your trip to Robby's shop nad the Hall of Fame...you are very lucky.
thanks everybody for saying you like my Hummer. Me and my Dad built it together but the design was my idea. He let me do a lot of twork. My church has a pine wood derby one a year called the AWANA Grand Prix. This wass the first year I was old enough to be in it. You have to be in the 3rd grade. Maybe next year i'll make one of Robby's race cars or his Monster Truck. I sure wish Robby could see these pictures. I think he would like them.
You better send me pictures...I can't wait to see them.
Did I send you any "SIMPSON" stickers?
I have a few from the Dakar trucks if you want them.
Let me know.
Noah, I got your story...very cool.
After church today, I spent the afternoon playing the Wii with my girls....we always have fun, but they beat me in prety much everything. We got Dirt 2 for Christmas and are trying to figure it out. TV racing and actual racing are two different stories, so I have issues.
Instead of building a Monster Hummer 77, why dont you build a #1 TT, since Rob was the Score champion this last year?
Have a great week with school and building your pine wood hummer or TT.
Matt
Noah,
Check your mail box...my guess is Friday or Saturday....it should arrive.
I sent a couple of each! Make sure you ask your parents before putting the stickers on something. The monster stickers that I sent have seen thousands of miles in Baja over the past year!!! Have fun!
I notice that you have been wanting to hear from Robby. It looks like you have a lot of people helping you, but I thought I give you a few suggestions also. You might try sending an email to FanZone@teamgordon.com or sending a letter to him at the shop:

Good luck and keep trying. Robby loves his fans and I'm sure you will hear from him sometime soon.
No fireworks for us...everything is illegal where we are. I live in an equestrian neighborhood, that means lots of people have horses, and they don't want to scare them and all the other animals around. We may take the buggy up in the hills to watch other fireworks, but not sure yet. May just stay home and watch the race...maybe go up to Robbys dad's house if he is in town and watch it.
No, we did not make a float this year for the parade, so we will just be watching it, thats if my girls keep the house picked up and quit fighting with each other.
Have fun with the fireworks and don't get hurt!
Some day you will get to California, but its not that great. You are young, you will meet Robby some day.
Hey Noah, it looks as if you got your are covering all your basis in meeting Robby. That is some very good thinking. Like I mentioned earlier, I still need to run up the street and get some Monster stickers for you out of the buggy, just haven't had the time just yet. Once I do that, I will have those, some RG off-road, and some Sunoco stickers to send to ya.
Hey, and if you make it to California, Baja Bill can show you Robby's shop, and I can show you ....well, he lives just up the street from me.....well, you get the idea.
Hope you are having a great summer!
Noah, I spend a lot of time in Baja Mexico in a town called San Felipe. I was at a gas station on my way to the Baja 1000 in November of 2008. I noticed a box truck with Grider Racing on it. I walked over and met Neil Grider, who is Robby's navigator's dad.by the name of Andy Grider. Andy has won in the Baja races on a motorcycle. He featured in Dust to Glory.
Neil as me is I wanted to help in the pits. We set everything up and waited all day and night. Robby broke down before he ever got to us. That is part of racing.
In March of 2009, I was in San Felipe for the Baja 250. I bumped into Neil Grider before the race. He told me to stop by where they were staying and hang out and take photos and video for the Planet. Robby was out pre-running with Andy in the pre-runner. Robby and Andy finally showed up. Robby took the Trophy truck out and showed us what it could do. As it came by it was like a jet. I was covered in gravel and dust. It was doing in excess of 130 MPH.
We went back to the place Robby was staying. I talked to all the different team members. Baja Bill and I did a video interview with Robby and Andy. You can view it on the Planet. On race day I caught up with Neil at Check point #2 after driving 40 miles through the desert on my Rhino. It was scary. I was afraid of getting lost.Part of my trip was on the race course. I got some cool pictures and Robby finished second. So that was was how I got to meet Robby. I am sure you will get your chance to meet Robby. He is very friendly and fun to be around. The peole that I have met through Robby have been terrific.
Nice pictures...I like the new shirts and sticker!
I have a few stickers here that I am going to mail to you, just waiting to get a few more out of the buggy the next time I see Robs dad. He lives just up the street around the corner from me and I usually see him every morning, but its been a busy week with the race and all. We have a bag of stickers that we hand out when we go down to Baja for all the kids...they love it. They are the stickers you can't buy anywhere, so they are cool.
Well, I hope to get them soon and mailed out to you. Make sure your mom says its ok and let me know where to mail them. If your mom wants me to use her e-mail for the address, let me know.
See ya!
No, I will not be at the Kansas race.
I might see Robby this week, as the race is over here in California and I will tell him to look at your page on the planet. If he comes home, I will most likely see him drive by my house and I will flag him down.
Noah, I got your email last week, just haven't had time to respond....working on getting some stickers for you to start with...I have some Robby off road stickers, just waiting to get some of the Monster stickers....hopefully I can get those soon, they are up the streat from me....just have to hook up with the real Gordon!
Yes Noah I took those pictures I would have more pictures from the race but we were realy bussy during the race so I shot a few after the race just before rob left for nascar race
Noah,
I have not talked to Robby yet...he was pretty busy today.
Like always, he and the team are probably eating tacos and then he will be on the plane to Poccono for tomorrow's race.
I think you need a Monster Energy T-shirt...let me see what I can do, as I know my 9 & 7 year old daughters want one too!
