Here is the link for the 2011 entry list for the 500. http://www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com:8080/var/assets/IMS_EntryL...

Dragon Racing ( Owned by the Captain's son, Jay Penske) has a car and a backup entered with a driver TBA. Panther Racing, who came in second last year at Indy with Dan Wheldon has a car and a backup entered with a driver TBA . It might be nothing, but then again it might be something. A number of teams bring extra cars and wait for the best driver with the most sponsor dollars to fill them. These look like the best options available at this time. It would be tremendous exposure for Robby and Speed Energy at the 100th anniversary Indy 500!

it would be awesome to see rg at indy for the whole month. he is a contender in an indy car, just a field filler in nascrap. hope he is in, he could win that race.
Yeah I Saw that about Dragon Racing , PT is drivng for that team part time (not at Indy) . Would Be CooL .
42 possible entries. It's good to see the car count on the rise again.
HONDA has prepped 41 motors. They usually overestimate.
I think he would be a contender in a good chassis/good team, but not his own team,,,,wait till next year when they change the chassis package the he'll killem them
I suppose it's possible Sam Hornish could end up in that Penkse car. I've also heard Buddy Rice's name tossed around. ..or an agreement could be reached with D&R to cancel the Indy only deal putting Tracy in it.

But Robby in the car with Speed Energy sponsorship would be sweet. That car / driver combination could contend.
my money is on Hornish.
I will watch the race. But with a lot less interest than if Robby was in it.
on NASCAR Now they just mentioned that Hornish will not drive in the Indy 500
I read that too about Sam, but the bad news for Robby is the Penske/Dragon racing has a contract with Rockstar Energy Drink as a co-sponsor for the team...Which Obviously means no Monster for PT. But the good news is Sam is ineligible for the $5 million at Vegas because #1 he is not a full time racer in a single series which is a requirement and #2, he is a prior Indy Car Champ, so it could be possible RP could put RG in a car but also means Robby has to run a Full season in Cup to be eligible for the $5 million in Vegas Indy car race.
does a full SCORE schedule fit the bill?
